Is Zach Top Trading Big Stages with Comedy Shows?

Zach Top grew up on a farm in Washington with a guitar in his hand and dirt on his boots. He spent years building houses and framing walls before anyone knew his name. But he found his stardom in singing. And secured the  ‘New Artist of the Year’ award at the 2025 CMA.

Recently he did something hilarious that left people wondering if he traded his microphone for a comedy stage.

He showed up at a baseball game looking more like a jokester than a country legend.

He wore a funny red beer helmet strapped to his head and two cans on the sides. He held a microphone like a serious news reporter and started interviewing other stars. It was a strange sight for a man known for his serious songs.

Zach Top missed his calling as a comedian…

The fans are going wild. One viewer said that he should have been around with legends like Merle Haggard and George Jones. Another person mentioned that they just love this guy because he is so real. He has a way of making people feel like they are part of the joke.

While he is great at making people giggle, his music is where his heart truly lives. He is moving from small jokes to big moments that define a career. One of those moments happened when he stepped into the spotlight to show the world his true gift.

Zach Top: I Never Lie | The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

He stood on the stage of the Tonight Show and sang his heart out for the whole country. He performed his hit song about a man who claims he is doing fine after a breakup. The lyrics say he sleeps like a baby and never drinks whiskey, but the audience knows better. It is a sad story hidden inside a beautiful melody.

Zach Top brings back the sound of the ‘90s. Whether he is acting silly or singing a heartbreak song, he stays true to himself. You should definitely keep up with his journey as he grows even bigger. Follow Zach Top on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
