Zach Top Brings the Spirit of George Strait to the Ryman

People say that pure country music sound died out. Probably they are not familiar with the name ‘Zach Top. A singer, with the vintage guitar and the perfect cowboy hat. In his Ryman Auditorium performance of his song ‘I Never Lie’, he proved that the pure country sound is still alive.

In this video, you can feel a magic in his voice sounding like a scratchy record from 1994. He stands there with a quiet strength, looking like he stepped right out of a classic movie.

The people in the crowd could not help but shout their approval between the verses. One fan said that hearing him felt like finally coming home after a long trip. Another person mentioned that they had waited twenty years to hear a fiddle played with that much heart again.

That night in Nashville was only the start of a much bigger journey for this country singer. He carried that same 90s spirit with him from the quiet church pews of the Ryman to the center of the biggest arena in the world.

Zach Top – “Use Me” | Live at the 2025 ACM Awards

He walked out at the ACM Awards and stood tall before thousands of people to sing Use Me. He just held his guitar and sang with a clarity that made the giant room feel small and personal. The audience sat in total silence as he hit the high notes with a smooth grace.
