The Truth Behind Céline Dion’s “Creepy” Kids’ Clothing Ad

Most people have only seen a few screenshots of that strange Céline Dion baby video and the angry comments around it.

In 2018, Céline Dion teamed up with an Israeli brand called Nununu to launch a gender neutral kids’ clothing line called CELINUNUNU. The promo shows her walking into a hospital nursery, with one side pink and one side blue. She blows a cloud of glittering black dust and the babies’ clothes all turn into black, white, and grey outfits from the line.

Over this, her voice talks about how children are not truly “ours” and how they must choose their own path. The brand says the goal is to free kids from strict girl and boy roles and let them express themselves.

Some people saw skulls and dark colors and called it “satanic.” Others zoomed in on words like “New Order” on some items and jumped straight to “New World Order” and the World Economic Forum. There is no proof the WEF ordered this, funded this, or even cares about this ad. Those links are guesses, not facts.

In the official CELINUNUNU commercial, you can see the dark, cinematic nursery, the black sparkle dust, the babies’ clothes changing from pink and blue to black and white, and the playful arrest scene with Céline saying, “I am Céline Dion.” The ad sets out a bold idea. It treats gender rules as the “old world” and the monochrome outfits as a symbol of freedom and choice for the next generation.

In December 2022 she sat in front of a camera and shared that she has Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disease that causes severe muscle spasms and has already forced her to cancel shows and tours. In that message, through tears, she speaks about her voice, her fear and her three sons.
