A deeply personal piece of Elvis Presley history is leaving Priscilla Presley’s family for the first time.
A private photo album from Elvis and Priscilla’s May 1, 1967 wedding is being auctioned today, September 21, by Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen.
The album belonged to Priscilla’s parents, Joseph and Ann Beaulieu, and has remained within their family for nearly six decades.
Inside are 30 original black-and-white photographs from the couple’s wedding at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas.
The photographs capture the ceremony, exchange of rings, official portraits and moments from the reception.
But three additional photographs make the collection even more personal.
They are color pictures taken at Graceland in the summer of 1968, showing Elvis and Priscilla with their newborn daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
The album’s cover also reveals exactly who originally received it.
Written in gold are the words:
“Priscilla and Elvis Presley 5-1-67 – Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beaulieu – From the Colonel.”
“The Colonel” referred to Elvis’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, who helped organize the wedding.

Bruun Rasmussen says the album was presented to Priscilla’s parents as a personal wedding keepsake.
Only about 10 copies of this special album are believed to have been made as gifts for people close to Elvis and Priscilla.
This particular copy was eventually inherited by Beaulieu relatives living in Denmark and, according to the auction house, has never previously been offered for sale.
The entire collection carries an estimate of 100,000 Danish kroner, approximately $14,600.
Its value comes from more than the famous names in the photographs.
This was not a commercial souvenir created for Elvis fans.
It was a private family album given directly to the bride’s parents following one of the most famous celebrity weddings of the 1960s.
Nearly 60 years later, someone outside the Presley and Beaulieu families may now own it for the first time.
A wedding album once meant only for Priscilla Presley’s parents is about to become a piece of Elvis history in a collector’s hands.
