A lot of music on the radio today sounds like it was made by a computer. It has too many fake sounds and electronic beats. Sometimes, it feels like singers do not even use their real voices anymore. That is exactly what happened on the big TV show, America’s Got Talent. A young country duo named Madelyn Tallent and Malachi Martin walked onto the stage. The crowd cheered loudly, and the famous judge Simon Cowell thought they were amazing. But another judge, Howie Mandel, was being grumpy. He said they were not ready for a big show. This made the other judges upset, and Sofia Vergara even called Howie “the Grinch” for being so mean! Luckily, the other judges voted “yes” to save them. They proved that people still love old-school country music.

For example, a brother and sister duo named The Reklaws came on the show to sing a special song. They wrote this song themselves to honor their mom who passed away. Just like the first duo, they did not use loud background tracks or flashy lights. They just used their real voices and an acoustic guitar.
