The judges were left speechless, and they unanimously chose to move her to the next round. Sydnie continued to outperform herself until she made it to the semi-finals, where she delivered another stunning performance of “My Way”. Her unique take on this classic song, got her a huge round of applause from the crowd.
Her success in the semi-finals meant that she now had to face the ultimate challenge and compete in the finals. The pressure was higher than ever, but if there’s one thing Sydnie knows, it’s how to rise to the occasion. Sydnie delivered a breathtaking performance of “Over the Rainbow.” She showed how well she can control her vocals, her smooth transition from soft low notes to brilliant high-notes captivated the audience and left the judges speechless.

Alesha Dixon, declared it “one of the most incredible performances she had ever witnessed.” Judge Amanda Holden, got visibly emotional, and praised Sydnie’s “raw talent and incredible stage presence.” The judges couldn’t find a single flaw in the performance and so, Sydnie was crowned the undisputed champion of Britain’s Got Talent!
Late 2024, Sydnie’s hard work finally started to pay off as she got to work on her first album called “My Way”. She managed to create the entire album in less than a month, drawing inspiration from her favorite artists to showcase her personality and musical style. The album which was released in october, has already received amazing reviews from all around.
“I’m really proud, especially for doing it in three weeks. I would love to go through it again with more time for sure – and to write originals,” she said in an interview about her album.

Sydnie also dreams of making her mark in musical theater and hopes to star in a West End musical next year. “I just want to sing to work,” she shared, showing her passion for performing in different areas.
Even though Sydnie is bubbly and outgoing, she has faced challenges like stage fright. Before her BGT auditions, she was extremely nervous. “The semi-final and final were awful – I was throwing up, I was dry heaving. My singing coach had to literally take me on the stage,” she admitted. But once the cameras started rolling, everything changed.
“It’s funny what you can do when you need to do it,” she explained, describing how adrenaline helped her perform beautifully.
Besides releasing her album, Sydnie has been very busy. She was invited to perfrom at the Royal Albert Hall for the “The Royal Variety Show” in November, where she delivered a breathtaking performance of “Believer”, that has got everyone talking. Apart from this the rising star is now scheduled for a performance at “The Lowry” in Salford on February 10th 2025.
