She had it so rough in her life that she was ready to quit. She spent almost ten years getting rejected from auditions. To pay bills, she worked at a gym’s front desk. Sydnie knew she needed stability, maybe to start a family. Her audition was her very last try to make it in the music world.
Sydnie worked hard in shows on cruise ships and in Germany’s Starlight Express. But getting a job in the famous London West End was impossible. By New Year’s Eve in 2023, she told her family the dream was over. She felt crushed and wondered if she could afford to keep performing.

Sydnie chose the song “Tomorrow” for her BGT tryout. The judges were moved and gave her the Golden Buzzer right away. Viewers loved her voice and her happy smile. One viewer said she was the best talent they had ever found. Another comment said her voice was incredible and beyond compare.
The Golden Buzzer was Sydnie’s first big “yes” after years of “no”s. She went on to win the whole show. She was the first solo female singer ever to win Britain’s Got Talent. Her life changed in a moment. Sydnie used her win to build a vast new career right away.

Her debut album, My Way, shot to number one on iTunes in America and the UK. She performed for the King at the Royal Variety Performance. In 2025, Sydnie started as Cruella De Vil in a big West End musical. She also sang for David Foster at a massive show in Los Angeles.
