Snoop Dogg Shuts Down Ziggo Dome with Classic Hits and Unmatched Stage Presence

Michael Stevens

Snoop Dogg shut it down at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on March 20, 2023, bringing that real West Coast energy to a packed house. The Doggfather hit the stage dripped out as always, stepping into the spotlight like a true legend. Soon as the beat dropped for “The Next Episode,” the crowd went crazy, setting the vibe for a night full of classic joints and straight-up good times.

From “Gin and Juice” to “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Snoop had the whole venue rocking. The man’s stage presence is effortless—smooth with it, cracking jokes, hitting his little two-step, and making everybody feel like they were kicking it with him. And when he dropped “Still D.R.E.,” the whole place turned into one big West Coast party.

Snoop didn’t just run through the hits; he made sure to show love to the culture. He took a moment to salute Dr. Dre, reminding everybody why their partnership is one of the coldest in hip-hop. Tracks like “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?)” and “Beautiful” had folks vibing, singing along word-for-word. The stage setup was fire too—neon lights, smoke in the air (you already know), and a whole lot of West Coast flavor.

He closed it out with “Young, Wild & Free,” and by that point, the energy in the building was straight electric. Before bouncing, he gave the Amsterdam crowd their props, showing love and promising to come back.

One thing’s for sure—Snoop still got it. Decades in the game, and he’s still rocking stages like it’s ‘93. If you were there, you already know it was a night to remember. If you missed it? Man, don’t sleep next time the Doggfather comes through.
