Sina Doering, a gifted drummer from Marburg, Germany, has captivated music lovers worldwide with her electrifying drumming skills. Born in 1999, Sina was practically raised on a symphony of sounds. With a drummer and music pro for a dad, Mike Wilbury, it didn’t take long for him to spot her special gift for rhythm—even as a kid, she seemed to have music in her bones. At just two, Sina was touring with her dad’s Beatles tribute band, starting her musical journey early.

At ten, Sina began formal drumming lessons, a turning point that refined her natural talent. Her love for the drums grew stronger when her father bought a drum kit in 2010 for recording purposes. Sina took up the challenge, quickly mastering the instrument and contributing to professional recordings within a year.

In 2013, at just 14, Sina launched her YouTube channel, Sina-Drums, sharing her first video recorded and filmed by her father. She gained recognition for her dynamic and heartfelt drum covers of pop classics. Sina’s cover of Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing” launched her into the spotlight and impressing longtime fans and introducing the song to a younger audience. Her take on classics like “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple highlighted her talent and unique style, making her YouTube’s most watched female drummer.

Sina isn’t just about drum covers. She worked with her dad on her first album, The Chi Might Project, featuring over 40 artists from around the globe. This project really birthed something unique but also showed Sina’s passion for what she does. Sina pursued her passion academically, graduating from Germany’s Drummers Institute in 2018 and earning her Bachelor of Arts in Jazz & Pop Drums at ArtEZ Conservatory in the Netherlands by 2024.

Sina’s creative journey led her to exciting new ventures, including moving her recording studio from her father’s basement to a houseboat in the Netherlands in 2022. The move gave her a fresh, creative space to make music. In 2024, she took things up a notch by moving to London, one of the world’s biggest music hotspots, to grow her career even more.

With over 1.37 million YouTube subscribers and 312,000 Facebook followers, Sina has become a global sensation.Her growing collection of albums, including Chi Might II and Chi Might III, showcases how much she’s evolved as an artist.
