Robert Levey II is a talented musician from Long Island who has been making waves online. His unique cover of Ed Sheeran’s song “Perfect” has captured the attention of people everywhere. At only 13 years old, Robert has showcased his talent at concerts across the United States, earning admiration and a growing fan base. Robert’s big break came in 2018 when he performed at New York Fashion Week. From there, his piano coach, Dominic Ferris, invited him to perform in London. These opportunities helped Robert take his music career to the next level. He has since been nominated as one of the Best Singers Under 18 in the U.S. and is a finalist in a major vocal competition happening in Nashville, Tennessee.
Robert’s music taste is as diverse as his talent. He loves songs from the 1950s and ’60s but also enjoys modern hits. For Robert, music is about sharing a story, and he puts his full effort into every performance. His coach, Dominic Ferris, inspired this passion by teaching him to bring meaning to every song he sings.

Growing up, Robert was influenced by legendary musician Billy Joel, who also came from Long Island. Robert admires Joel’s ability to tell stories through music and dreams of meeting him someday.He dreams of performing at famous venues like Madison Square Garden but is happy focusing on his music journey for now.
Robert’s love for music started early. He began playing piano at 4 and took singing seriously by age 8. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he started posting covers online and received so much encouragement that it pushed him to improve even more. Through lessons with his coaches and practice, Robert has developed into an exceptional young artist.

Although no one in Robert’s family pursued music professionally, his coaches and loved ones have supported him every step of the way. His guitar coach, Jamie Moses, was one of the first to recognize his potential, urging him to sing along with his piano playing. That advice helped Robert gain confidence and share his music with the world.
Robert’s journey has already been filled with memorable experiences such as performing with famous artists, and appearing at major events. With his rising fame Robert remains down to earth and appreciates all the support he has received so far. For Robert, music is more than just performing because he feels it is important to create a connection with the listeners and making them feel something special.
