Riley Keough is Elvis Presley’s granddaughter and one of the most recognizable members of the Presley family.
So when her name suddenly appeared beside John Travolta’s son Benjamin in court papers, the allegation immediately became a huge story.
But there is an important distinction from the viral headline.
The lawsuit did not claim Riley secretly gave birth to Travolta’s son. It alleged that she donated eggs that John Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston used to conceive Benjamin, whom Preston carried and gave birth to in 2010. No court has established that allegation as true.
The claim surfaced in an amended complaint filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court in December 2025 by Priscilla Presley’s former business associates Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko.
The filing was actually part of a much larger legal dispute involving Priscilla’s son, Navarone Garcia, not a paternity case brought by Riley or Travolta.
And the details were extraordinary.
Kruse and Fialko alleged Riley received an old Jaguar and somewhere between $10,000 and $20,000 in exchange for donating her eggs.
According to the filing, the information allegedly came through Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie Presley’s former husband. That means the claim itself was not based on a public statement from Riley, Travolta or Preston.
Priscilla Presley Responds to the Riley Keough Claim
E! News covered Priscilla Presley’s response after the allegation appeared in court documents. Her lawyers condemned the claim as “shameful” and accused her former associates of dragging unrelated family matters into their legal battle.
That response is important because the allegation was presented online as though a secret family connection had suddenly been proven.
It had not.
Riley Keough and John Travolta were not defendants in the case, and the egg-donation allegation was only one claim inside a much broader lawsuit involving business disputes, fraud accusations and the Presley family’s finances.
As of mid-2026, no publicly reported court ruling had confirmed the allegation, and no independently verified evidence had established Riley as Benjamin Travolta’s biological parent. The broader litigation involving Priscilla and her former business partners remained active.
There is also one correction worth making to the source story: the woman involved is Brigitte Kruse, not “Brigitte Cruz.”
The Presley and Travolta names made the allegation irresistible clickbait.
But the real story is stranger in a different way.
