Did you know a country music star made $100,000 for ducks? That happened when Riley Green played a sold-out “Duckman Jam” concert in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Green used his fame to help save duck homes. Fans said that this action proved his down-to-earth persona is totally real.

Green is known as the “Duckman.” The name is given to him for his deep commitment to nature. Staying true to his name, he raised funds through ticket sales and donated them to Ducks Unlimited. The donors included the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation and his own Buford Bonde Charitable Fund.

The $75,000 donation was part of a day that raised over $670,000. Green’s grandfathers were veterans. His family history makes helping soldier families very personal for him.
