Richard Goodall heads to Hollywood for AGT live rounds—will he take the competition by storm?

Richard Goodall, the singing janitor who amazed everyone with his performance of Don’t Stop Believin’ on America’s Got Talent, got ready to perform again in the live rounds. After waiting more than two months since his audition, he headed back to Hollywood to impress the judges and fans once more.

In a recent interview, Goodall said the experience had been even better than he imagined. He thought he would fly out, sing, and go home, maybe ending up in a YouTube video. But his powerful voice and kind personality made him a viral star, and even trips to Walmart became more exciting due to his new fame.

His fiancée, Angela Vanoven, had always been his biggest supporter. She said she knew he was meant to be famous even before they met. After hearing him sing karaoke through a friend, she felt his name should be up in lights.

Even though Goodall was gaining fame, he stayed humble. He continued to work as a janitor while preparing for the next round of the competition. Unsure where it would lead, he remained thankful for all the support from his community and fans. Fans were able to wish him good luck at a special event held for him at the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
