Richard Goodall, a 55-year-old school janitor from Terre Haute, Indiana, became an overnight sensation on Season 19 of America’s Got Talent. He went from a quiet worker singing in empty school halls to a finalist under the bright lights of the AGT stage.

Goodall’s path to stardom began when he gave a Golden Buzzer audition of the song “Don’t Stop Believin’”. His performance also got the attention of Journey’s guitarist Neal Schon, who promised to join Goodall onstage during the big winner’s reveal.
