Richard shared how nerve-wracking it was waiting for the winner to be announced on AGT. Performing ten songs is easier than standing through a results show,” he joked. “It’s incredibly stressful to wait in front of millions, knowing everything is out of your hands.” When they finally called his name as the winner it was a moment he’ll never forget. He remembered Heidi Klum rushing over to hug him, showing her excitement and support.

Now, Richard is focused on his music career. He said his manager in California has been hearing great feedback about possible projects. While nothing is set yet, Richard hinted that an album might be coming soon. “I’m approaching this the same way I did AGT—no big expectations, but giving it my all,” he explained. “An album is definitely part of the plan.”
Richard also talked about some of his dream collaborations. He said he’d love to work with rock legend Steven Tyler or country star Jelly Roll. “That would be amazing,” he said. “I’ve always had a bit of a country side, too.”
