Paris Jackson Revealed The Side Of Michael Jackson Only A Daughter Could Know

Just two days after calling Michael Jackson her best friend on a podcast, Paris Jackson posted a new song that fans believe is for him. She didn’t give it a title.

SHE ONLY WROTE THAT SHE “WROTE A SONG ABOUT MY BEST FRIEND.”

Back on May 26, Paris sat down with Jack Osbourne on his show “Trying Not to Die” and talked about her bond with her dad. She said he wasn’t just her father. He was her best friend. Two days later, the new song showed up online, and the timing was hard to miss.

THE LYRICS FIT A FATHER AND DAUGHTER PERFECTLY. “All these winding roads lead back to you,” she sings. “We’re all just pieces of the people that we meet. You’ve got the biggest piece of me.” Paris also told Osbourne she didn’t want to do anything that felt like a forced tribute to her dad. This is her doing it her own way.

She lost Michael when she was only 11. At his memorial, she stepped up to the mic in front of thousands of people and said HER DAD WAS THE BEST FATHER ANYONE COULD ASK FOR, then broke down crying in her aunt Janet’s arms.

She Was Just 11 When Her Father Died

Paris has built her own career since then, releasing music that stands completely on its own. Her debut single “Let Down” was released in 2020 and received praise from critics for its haunting, beautiful sound.

She’s had a busy 2026, too, releasing two new singles, including “Teenage Drama,” co-written with Linda Perry. But this new, untitled song feels different. It’s raw, it’s personal, and for a lot of fans, it sounds like a daughter still missing her dad.
