Paris Jackson is a singer now, and this month she’s doing something she’s never done before. She’s headlining her own shows across Europe and the UK for the very first time.
She kicked it off in a fitting spot. On Saturday, October 10, she played the Alhambra in Paris, the city she shares a name with. Two days later, on Monday, October 12, she took the stage in Berlin.
She’s out on the road with her second album, “Happiest Day of My Life,” which came out August 21. She made it with Linda Perry, a well-known songwriter and producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in pop.
Here’s what the crowd saw in Paris.

This was filmed by someone standing in the audience, so you hear the room and get a feel for how the fans there took to her.
The tour keeps moving all week. She plays Amsterdam tomorrow, October 14, and then London on Friday, October 16.
That London date is a big one. It’s her first concert ever in that city, and the room might surprise you. She’s playing a small, intimate club called Downstairs at The Dome, not some giant arena. For a singer with a famous last name, that says a lot about how she wants to do this.
On her US shows back in September, Paris has been closing most nights with one particular song. It’s the title track from the new album, and it tends to be the part of the night fans remember most.

Listen to this one and you’ll get why it works so well as a closer. It leaves a room quiet in the best kind of way.
There’s something sweet about watching Michael’s daughter build her own thing, in her own voice, far from home. She isn’t leaning on the family name. She’s out in small European clubs, singing songs she wrote herself and winning people over one room at a time.
The London show is the one to watch for this week. A first is a first, and this one’s been a long time coming.
