For years, Argentinian performer Leo Blanco has made a living transforming himself into Michael Jackson.
But recent throwback photos showed followers something many had never seen before:
what Leo looked like before the surgeries began.
The old photographs resurfaced in August 2026, showing Blanco as a teenager before the facial procedures that would dramatically change his appearance.
And his transformation started remarkably early.
Leo has said he underwent his first cosmetic surgery at only 15 years old after becoming fascinated with Michael Jackson and deciding that performing as his idol could become his career.
Over the following years, the changes became extensive.
Reports have documented multiple rhinoplasties, ear procedures, liposuction, cosmetic injections, tattooed eyebrows and sideburns and work to make his jaw and chin resemble Michael’s more closely. By 2022, Infobae described him as having undergone 13 surgeries.
Earlier, in 2019, Blanco said he had already spent more than $30,000 on surgeries and cosmetic treatments.

Leo has never presented the transformation as something casual.
In that documentary, he said he had put his body, soul and money into trying to become the best Michael Jackson impersonator possible. His performances have since taken him beyond Argentina, with international appearances built around Michael’s music, costumes and dance style.
But his family has not always shared his comfort with the process.
His mother Adriana publicly admitted that watching him repeatedly enter operating rooms frightened her.
She said Leo discussed surgery almost as casually as going to a hairdresser and worried that one day something could go seriously wrong.
There were real complications too.
Blanco has spoken about an early ear operation that went badly and required further work, while repeated procedures on his nose were also necessary after problems with previous surgery.
Still, Leo has consistently described the transformation as part of his art rather than an attempt to erase his own identity.
He told Argentine media that performing as Michael was his work and that the changes helped him create the image audiences expected when he walked onstage.
