Luke Bryan’s Drive-Thru Surprise for Babies

Do you know one in every one hundred babies in America is born with a heart problem?

Luke Bryan put on a black Raising Cane’s hat and a blue uniform this week to do something about those numbers. He worked the hot fryers and chatted with folks at the drive-thru window in Franklin, Tennessee.

The superstar was not there for fame. He was there to support those kids with heart problems. The problem is relatable for him. His niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, only lived for seven months before her heart gave out. It is a big deal when a man who sells out stadiums decides to pack lunch boxes for a good cause.

Luke Bryan Surprises Fans at Raising Cane’s

People who were there could not stop talking about how kind he was to every single person. One mother said that seeing him care so much made her feel like there is still a lot of good in the world. Another fan mentioned that Luke looked like he was having the time of his life while helping others.

While the grease was popping in the kitchen, a much bigger story was unfolding right outside at the check-out counter. Luke stepped away from the window to stand next to his friend Todd Graves, who started the chicken chain. They were talking about a promise that would change the future for many sick children.

Luke Bryan Receives $1 Million Donation From Raising Cane’s

Todd Graves handed over a commitment for one million dollars to help the Brett Boyer Foundation. This money will be given in large chunks of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars every year until 2029.

Side note: The foundation has already helped save thirty-six children by paying for doctors to find better ways to fix tiny hearts.

Luke Bryan is known for his voice and funny dance moves. But his real legacy might be the way he uses his heart to help the smallest warriors fight for their lives.
