How A Farmer’s Son Turned A Country Concert Into 9 Million Meals (And Counting)

Alexis Morillo

On June 5, 2026, a huge crowd will pack the Myrtle Beach boardwalk for Luke Bryan’s headlining set. What many do not realize is that the man on that stage has spent 15 years using his music to support farm families and help provide more than 9 million meals.

The ACM Lifting Lives Award is not just another trophy for him. It matches who he is. For 15 years, his Farm Tour has taken concerts straight to working farms, turning fields into stages and ticket sales into support for the families who grow our food.

Those shows have helped fund scholarships for students from farming families. Through his partners, they have also helped provide more than 9 million meals. Every show does two jobs at once. It gives fans a fun night out and it gives real help to people who need it.

Now that same heart is coming to Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach on Friday, June 5, 2026. Big crowd. Beach setting. A headlining set built on the same “lifting lives” spirit that earned him that award.

Carolina Country Music Fest announces country star Luke Bryan as headliner

At CMA Fest 2025, he tore through “Country Song Came On” in front of a sea of fans, moving, laughing, and singing with the easy confidence of someone at home on a big outdoor stage. The crowd energy, the way he talks directly to people in the back, and the tight band behind him all hint at the same high-energy, heart-first show he is truly about to bring to Carolina Country Music Fest.

Luke Bryan – Country Song Came On (Live from CMA Fest 2025)

In 2025, he stepped onto the American Idol finale stage beside Lionel Richie and new judge Carrie Underwood for a smooth, easygoing version of “Stuck On You.” No farm lights. No fireworks. Just three artists trading smiles, harmony lines, and quiet respect. It is a simple moment that shows how comfortable Luke is outside his own songs and how naturally he connects with others.
