On Wednesday, October 7, Priscilla Presley posted a photo of two young women standing by the sea. Both wore black. One had dark hair, while the other’s long platinum blonde hair fell past her shoulders.
“Happy birthday Harper & Finley,” she wrote, adding a red heart.
The girls in that picture are Elvis Presley’s granddaughters, and they had just turned 18.
Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood were born on October 7, 2008. Their mother was Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’s only child. Their dad is Michael Lockwood, a musician Lisa Marie married in 2006.
Lisa Marie was 40 when the twins arrived. “I really wanted these babies,” she told People magazine.
She told Hello! magazine she had “never been happier.” She and Michael spent their days “staring at them in amazement,” she said, and she called home life “chaotic bliss.”
The girls also had an older sister, the actress Riley Keough, and an older brother, Benjamin. For the most part, they grew up away from cameras. In 2022, they joined their mom at a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s movie Elvis, which was one of their rare public outings.
Things got hard early on. Their parents split in 2016, and Benjamin died in 2020. Then on January 12, 2023, Lisa Marie died suddenly at 54, when the twins were only 14.
Ten days later, thousands gathered on the front lawn of Graceland, Elvis’s Memphis home, to say goodbye. Priscilla read a tribute written by one of her granddaughters.

After their mother’s death, the twins stayed with their dad. That spring, a court also named Michael Lockwood to stand up for the girls’ interests in her estate.
In August 2023, Riley became the sole trustee of their mother’s estate. She also looks after the trusts that were set up for her little sisters.
There were happy days too. In June 2023, Priscilla posted a photo of herself and Riley with the twins at their middle school graduation. “You’re now in high school!!!” she wrote.
The girls have kept their mom close. On the second anniversary of her death in January 2025, Finley posted, “2 years. I love you always.” Harper wrote that she missed her.
Those short messages reached fans all over the world.

In the fall of 2025, the twins did their first real photo shoot. They posed on horseback with Priscilla for the cover of EQ Luxe magazine.
A few weeks later, Priscilla shared a holiday picture of the whole blended family. Riley’s new baby was in it, along with Riley’s dad Danny Keough and the twins’ dad Michael Lockwood. She called it an “unbreakable family bond.”
This week brought the big birthday. Fans filled the comments under Priscilla’s post, and many said one twin looks just like her grandmother. Others saw Lisa Marie in the other sister, and even a little bit of Elvis.
