That terrifying moment was Taylor Swift Week. Jordan recently shared that covering Taylor’s music is no joke because her songs are tailored so perfectly to her own voice. He was plagued by self-doubt, terrified he would pick the wrong track or let down millions of Swifties.
Ultimately, he risked it all on her debut single, “Tim McGraw,” and absolutely nailed it. But the pressure behind the scenes was immense. Though he was afraid to sing that song, he sang it so well that judges and fans absolutely LOVED it. Relive that performance right here!

Surprisingly, Jordan wasn’t the only one hitting a wall. Even the season’s grand champion, Hannah Harper, had moments where she wanted to pack her bags and head home.
For Hannah, the breaking point arrived during ’90s Night, also known as the Judges’ Song Contest. The judges handed her the fast-paced country hit “Heads Carolina, Tails California” by Jo Dee Messina.
While Hannah loved the song, the grueling schedule had completely drained her. With four weeks still standing between her and the finale, she found herself fighting off intense exhaustion and anxiety just to stay in the game. She even got some criticism from Lionel about her stage presence, which made it worse for her. But fans still supported her that night as well. Relive her performance here.

Thankfully, both artists found their best nights as well. For Jordan, the ultimate turning point arrived during Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night. He shed his safe image, spun across the stage, and even threw glasses into the crowd.
He later laughed that he barely recognized himself up there, but that high-energy breakthrough proved he had the star power to make it to the very end.
For Hannah, the theme of Disney Night was her favorite performance. But we guess, for her fans, each and every performance mattered a lot!
