Hannah Harper, the Missouri mother of three who has captured our hearts on American Idol, is currently living out a real-life fairytale.
Before this season started, Hannah was a stay-at-home mom from Willow Springs, Missouri. She spent her days caring for her three boys and building a life from the ground up. But since joining the Top 9, her world has been filled with magical “firsts” that most of us only dream of.
It all started with a blue box. After making it into the Top 11, Hannah received a surprise gift from her hero and judge, Carrie Underwood. It was a beautiful piece of jewelry from Tiffany & Co.—Hannah’s very first time ever owning something from the iconic brand! She was so moved by the gift and the handwritten note from Carrie that she couldn’t help but share her raw emotion with her fans.

But the magic didn’t stop there. This week is Disney Night on American Idol, and the remaining contestants flew out to the Disneyland Resort in California to prepare for the big show. For Hannah, this wasn’t just a business trip. She brought her kids along for their first-ever trip to Disneyland! “A special day we’ll never forget,” she shared on social media. Seeing her young sons meet Mickey Mouse and experience the park for the first time, while their mom is becoming a superstar, is enough to give anyone “all the feels.”
