Neil Diamond later shared a bittersweet memory that showed what life was really like behind those closed gates. His young son, Jesse, and Elvis’s daughter, Lisa Marie, were both little kids at the time. The two children wanted to play together, but they were separated by a huge fence topped with sharp barbed wire.
