She just stood there and sang with her mouth shut tight.
The music started, and Darci kept her face very still. It looked like her lips were glued together. A big and beautiful voice came out of her anyway. It was deep and sounded like a grown woman was singing. She had to use her throat and her belly to make the sound. This is very hard because you cannot breathe normally. She held long notes and did not move her jaw.
