In 2017, during her Homecoming Weekend in Oklahoma City, Darci Lynne and her mom, Misty, shared a beautiful moment on stage. They performed the classic Christmas song “Silent Night,” and while Darci’s voice was as amazing and melodic as ever, it was Misty who really wowed the audience with her powerful singing. The crowd was so impressed by Misty’s voice that they couldn’t help but cheer at the top of their lungs , even making her stop singing for a moment to take it all in.

Darci Lynne has also made a name for herself by putting her own spin on other songs, like Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” and Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.” More recently, she even covered Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire.”
