Did Netflix Really Drop a Courtney Hadwin Documentary or Something Even Bigger?

Rob Sheffield

Sometimes the internet runs faster than the truth. Over the past few days, a few pages have claimed that “Netflix has finally dropped the official trailer for a documentary on Courtney Hadwin.” The problem? There is no such documentary. No trailer, no announcement, no press release. What Courtney has dropped, though, is far more exciting, her debut album and a tour announcement.

In a recent live stream, the 21-year-old singer from Yorkshire beamed with pride as she told fans that “Little Miss Jagged” is officially out on all platforms. Between the excitement and her down-to-earth laughter Courtney shared details that show just how much she has grown since her America’s Got Talent days. She also announced her first ever UK tour, making it clear that her focus is on the music, not rumors.

Courtney Hadwin is live

Fans filled the chat with love and disbelief. One wrote, “I have been waiting for this since AGT!” Another said, “She’s finally getting the spotlight she deserves.” The comments of fans who have stuck with her since she first shook the stage as a teenager. For them, this album is not just new music, it is the start of something long overdue.

In the same live, Courtney mentioned that she is already planning a U.S. tour after her February UK run, with stops across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. Then came a moment that showed her care for fans: she confirmed the age rating for her shows has been lowered to 14+. That means younger fans, many of whom grew up watching her, can finally see her live.

Courtney Hadwin – Dirty (Live At Decoy Studios)

In her performance of “Dirty” at Decoy Studios, Courtney trades the bright lights for something stripped back. With just an electric guitar behind her, she leans into every word. Her voice rasps, bends, and soars.. Fans loved it, calling it “the real Courtney” and saying the raw setting felt like “watching lightning in slow motion.”

Courtney Hadwin is not waiting for someone else to tell her story, she is already writing it, one song at a time. Her music feels alive, restless, and brave. Rumors fade fast, but true voices do not.
