Courtney Hadwin Grew Up, Got Louder, and Took Control Of Her Career

Think about a shy 13-year-old standing on an AGT stage. She looks so nervous that you might think she wants to run away. But then, when she started performing, it was so electric that people started comparing her to Janis Joplin. That viral moment was just the start of her becoming a true rock icon.

In 2019, Courtney went to the Student Union in Newcastle to show she was ready for more. She joined The Struts for a very fast, loud performance. They sang a mix of Piece of My Heart by Janis Joplin and Could Have Been Me. Courtney did not just stand there and sing. She jumped and screamed with so much power that she seemed to belong on that stage more than anywhere else.

People who watched the show could not believe their eyes. One viewer said that the moment she starts to sing, she shifts into extreme beast mode. Another fan mentioned that she is the only person alive who becomes the song and sings the emotion so well.

That night in Newcastle was a big spark for her career. It showed she could handle a raw and sweat-soaked rock stage. Now she is moving even further ahead with her new music. She has grown from a young girl into a strong and independent artist who makes her own rules.
