After the news broke of a possible terrifying terrorist attack on one of Taylor Swift’s concert, part of the ‘Eras Tour’ it was only time before it was ultimately forced to cancel. This disappointing news not only left die-hard swifties who had been waiting for months heartbroken but also left the people of Vienna in a shock. However when Coldplay took over the stage and performed later that month, he had a surprise in his mind for the people of Vienna that would help them restore and uplift their spirits.
During the performance, Chris Martin, co-founder of Coldplay called out his audience after which the audience went wild. “Are there any Taylor Swift fans here tonight?” Chris invited Maggie Rogers onto the stage and sang Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.” The crowd burst into excitement which later turned into an electrifying sing along turning the heartbreak into a celebration while two young swifties found themselves on the stage astonished when Chris invited them.

However they didnt stop their, while in Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium for their set, Coldplay continued to pay tribute to Taylor’s fanbase by performing her songs throughout their concerts. During the third night of concerts, Chris Martin noticed a sign in the audience with fans that said “Shake It Off With Us.”
Seizing the moment, he brought the fan on stage and had them sing Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” with him while he covered the piano. The simple performance turned into an extraordinary moment for the crowd, with them eagerly raising their voices up as they sang along. While singing into the microphone next to fans on stage, it was a memorable day for the fan they would never forget.
