Meet the Christmas Voice People Are Replaying on Loop Right Now

Christmas came early in the This Morning studio when Sydnie Christmas stepped up to sing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” No backing track or shortcuts. Just a silky live vocal that sounded like it rolled straight off a finished record and straight into your favorite holiday playlist.

Sydnie is the first female solo singer to win Britain’s Got Talent in more than a decade, and she is already turning that title into a real career. Her Christmas performance showed why. You could hear musical theatre, jazz, and classic pop in each line, yet it all felt warm and easy.

Viewers called her glowing, honest, and deeply moving. Sydnie has already picked up an Outstanding New ITV Talent award at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards. Her debut album, My Way, raced to No. 1 on iTunes. She has sold out London shows, filmed a special for PBS in the United States, and taken the stage at the Royal Variety Performance, Sony Hall in New York, and even David Foster’s birthday concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

Now she is in the studio again, working on her first album of original songs for Spring 2026.

Merry Christmas everyone!

To really understand how Sydnie reached this level of confidence on live TV, you have to go back to the song that shaped her whole journey, “My Way,” on Britain’s Got Talent. In the Semi Final, she took the Sinatra classic and filled it with the same power, control, and emotion you hear in her Christmas performance. The judges called it “vocal pyrotechnics” and even scored it higher than a perfect ten.

In the Britain’s Got Talent final, she took the classic everyone knows and turned it into a quiet, glowing statement that this was her moment. The arrangement let her voice rise slowly then soar, holding the high notes with a calm confidence that felt almost unreal. Judges called it spellbinding and career defining.
