Later, he sang “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5. Right before he performed, he looked into the camera and finally said the “L-word.” He told Ryan Seacrest, “I’m in love, Ryan!” It was the most romantic moment of the season!

The irony is that on the same night Brooks told the world he was in love, he was voted off the show. Even though Rae wasn’t in the audience that night, she was back home in Maryland, cheering him on.
