They picked Will Swenson, a Tony-nominated powerhouse who actually started this role on Broadway. He is the only actor in the world who was personally mentored by Neil Diamond to play this role.
Now he is traveling all the way from the US just for the Melbourne premiere. From August 5 to September 27, 2026, he will be at the Princess Theatre to show us why Neil gave him his personal blessing.
