Do you hear that “6-7” sound everywhere you go? A young man on American Idol admitted that Gen Alpha slang is taking over. Even superstar Carrie Underwood has heard the viral meme too many times. She had to jump in to help. Carrie is ready to fight back with a music lesson. She believes she has the perfect trick to make the noise stop.

Carrie Underwood says she has the cure right across the judging table. When the young contestant, Uzziah, shared his problem with the repetitive slang, she threw her hands up in agreement. She explained that every time the kids say “6-7,” we must immediately sing the number “5-3-0-9.” It is a classic pop-rock song released by the band Tommy Tutone. She thinks we can stop the new trend if everyone bands together.
