Sydnie Christmas blows Judges away singing ‘My Way’

When Sydnie auditioned for BGT’s 17th season, she surprised everyone by performing a song she hadn’t sung since she was about four. She chose to sing “Tomorrow,” a 1980’s classic. It was a bold choice by her since Simon, one of the star judges, was known for famously disliking the song leaving everyone on the edge of their seats. But beneath Sydnie’s bubbly exterior was a soulful voice like no other, rich with emotional crescendos that left her family and audience in tears.

Her performance started off with a jazzy modernised piano backdrop which added originality to her rendition, adding a fresh twist to the 80s classic while maintaining the heartfelt magic of musical theatre. And that’s not all—her voice was impeccable. Simon Cowell glanced over at his fellow judges, smiling in shock, while Alesha seemed completely transfixed and Amanda was clearly smitten.
